My intentions are to be better at keeping my blog up. I have been very remiss at doing this.
I would like to use this as a way to keep people informed about my life and attitudes, as both change constantly.
Feel free to leave comments or suggestions!

I just recently read this quotation:
“Remember, the Bible is the introduction to a limitless God.”
I remember my thinking was so rigid, that everything about God is contained in the Bible. I no longer think that is so.
I consider it to be "the truth about the truth."
This was me:
You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life. (John 5: 39-49)
I don't want to go there anymore. I cannot find life in the scriptures, but only in Christ. The scriptures point to Christ.

Here's a point to ponder:
Quotations about Sorrow
"I walked a mile with Pleasure
She chattered all the way;
But left me none the wiser
For all she had to say.
"I walked a mile with Sorrow
And ne'er a word said she;
But oh, the things I learned from her
When Sorrow walked with me."

God's View of Creation
I think that you'd like this link. It kinda puts things in perspective, eh?
http://micro.magnet.fsu.edu/primer/java/scienceopticsu/powersof10/index.html
I've been going thru a little reprioritizing lately. I don't mean to be long-winded, but I thought I'd share a thought or two.
I've acquired some heretical views about the God thingy. Yeah, call me a heretic.
And I got it from the bible, of all places:
11 " 'For this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I myself will search for my sheep and look after them. 12 As a shepherd looks after his scattered flock when he is with them, so will I look after my sheep. I will rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on a day of clouds and darkness.
That's what I know in my heart to be true. He never meant for us to have any other shepherd but Him. Churches are just a business. Hawking God. It was never meant to be that way.
What a concept!

Before and After...
Dear Blog Reader,
As I said yesterday, it's really sad about Pluto. I'll always remember the summer of 2006 as the summer when Pluto lost its status as a planet. There will be the pre-planet days and the post-planet days. "Oh yeah, that trip to the beach -- wasn't that when Pluto was still a planet?"
